While that favorite online casino craps game may seem like one of the most complicated ways to spend your recreational time and money, it can actually be easy if you choose to play that way.
The more arduous come from the more experienced players, but even at times like this it is risky considering the house edge is higher.
So, let’s begin with an explanation of a few simple terms.
First, there is Dice Talk. This is important to know since craps is played with two six sided dice. The number or combination of seven is the most likely thing to be rolled. Crap, rules, odds and outcomes, though, are dependent on these basic symmetrical relationships.

Odds Talk, on the other hand is different from dice talk and since we know we’re going to roll two identical dice, we know we would be able to predict the possible outcomes of the rolls. It may help you to understand crap rules a little bit better.
For example, the odds against (which is how odds are most often expressed) rolling a 4 on your next roll are 11 to 1. You may be likely able to figure this out by taking the number of ways a four can be made with two dice (with a one and a three, a pair of twos, or a three and a 1) compared to the number of combinations that two dice can make, which is 36.
So here we have a 3 in 36 chance, or 1 in 12 chance that a 4 will come up on any given roll. Now, in order to express these odds as “against,” you would say the odds against rolling a four are 11 to 1 (think of it as 11 non 4’s to one 4 for a total of 12 rolls). The calculation we’ve just done determines the “true odds” of rolling a 4 as well as improved on your “odds talk.” Continue >>
